Aim

Prevention of unfair practices and providing mechanism for grievance redressal system through online /offline mode.

Grievance Redressal System is a mechanism to receive and act on complaints and grievances reported by the students, their parents, Employees and others in our institution. The Grievances of the Students, Parents and other Stakeholders under the mechanism of grievance redressal, as per the AICTE regulations, 2012 are addressed by:

(1) Grievance Redressal Committee
(2) Ombudsman

Grievance Redressal System

The Grievance Redressal Committee (GRC) addresses transparency in admissions, prevention of unfair practices, complaints of all students, Scheduled Castes, Scheduled Tribes, Backward Classes, Women, Minority and Differently able, fees, scholarship issues, victimization, sexual harassment, and other matters and to provide a mechanism to innocent students, parents, staff and other the stakeholders for redressal of their grievances. The aggrieved students, their parents , staff and the other stakeholders shall approach the concerned Head of the department/Section with the grievance/s and if not resolved, to the GRC for the redressal of their grievance/s.

Procedure for sending complaint to GRC

The aggrieved student/ person shall fill in the Grievance Redressal Form online or by email (compliant@gptsoraba.in) with necessary attachments of facts and/or documents or physically by filling Grievance application form available at the office and in the website for download/print and with all the available facts and the documents drop in the box available in the administrative block or submit to the office of the Principal, in order to put forth the matter to the committee concerned in order to resolve the issue.

Ombudsman

Aggrieved students, their parents and other stakeholders when not satisfied with the decision of the GRC, may send their appeals to the "OMBUDSMAN" directly. The Ombudsman will hear the grievances and ensure its disposal within one month of the receipt of the appeal. The fee for resolution of the grievance through the Ombudsman may vary from Rupees Three thousands to Rupees five thousands
